Flavours Gastronomica

Gastronomic "The Art of Eating"

Last August 29,2015 Bicol Bloggers were invited by Chef Gerald to have a taste of the prestigious food selection of Flavours. And I'm just so glad I was in Naga that time. Talk about the timing and luck.

Flavours have a good food selection. Cuisine: They have American (New), American (Traditional), Asian Fusion, Breakfast, Brunch, Burgers, Filipino, French, Pizza, Sandwiches, Seafood, Steakhouses, Vegan and Vegetarian
Aside from that, the place is just so comfy, the interior feels like you're in some other place and its white so from the moment you enter the restaurant it feels so refreshing and clean.

European tea pots *O* reminds me of Alladin
For the vegetarians out there they serve different kinds of Salad that you'll definitely enjoy. Chef's sister's salad is my fave!
Cinammon Pork Kebab (Grilled Pork flavoured with cinammon ) They used tangglad (sugar cane) as skewers that made the pork more flavorful and sweet. And it smells good!
Grilled Salmon with garlic and herbs (served with aioli and green salads)

Baked Salmon Crusted Pesto (served  with aioli and green salads)
Baby back ribs! Drools T.T
They also have different kinds of pasta. They have Olive oil pasta (Flavours signature pasta, Vongole, Crevettes and Basil, Red Pepper Pesto, Seafood Pesto, Spanish Sardines) They also have cream pasta (Spinach and Mushroom Lasagna, Beef Mushroom Lasagna, Flavours Mushrooms and Cream, Stroganoff) and Tomato Pasta (Spaghetti Bolognese, Fresh Tomatoes and Herbs )

Myeongdong Cathedral and Shopping Heaven (Steal The Style goes to Korea Day 1)

I've been really busy with school since I got back from America. But I'm trying my best to catch up with my backlogs. Ugh priorities! I love blogging more than anything though and I will try my best to still run and make this blog active. Anyways here's my Day 1 continuation.

After my Changdeokgung Palace visit we roam around the streets of Myeongdong before going to the Cathedral Church.

(Photo grabbed from google)

I didnt had a decent picture of it from the outside.

Myeong-dong Cathedral is the Church for Archdiocese of Seoul and was also the birthplace for the Roman Catholic Church community in Korea.  Myeong-dong Cathedral is located in downtown Seoul and tourists frequently come and visit the place. Near the cathedral are other tourism spots such as Namsangol Hanok Village preserving Korean traditional houses, N Seoul Tower overlooking Seoul and Namdaemun Market, a traditional market with a wide variety of food and goods.
How it looks like inside!

What I noticed about Korean Catholics is that they are very religious and very solemn. I was so impressed and got inspired by them. I didn't understand very well the mass because its was in Korean language. They have mass in English language though but we were not informed haha oh well we still finished the one hour mass it was very solemn and you could actually feel the presence of God inside the Cathedral.
After the mass we went to the Shopaholics Heaven (Myeongdong Street) *O* omo my eyes literally sparkled that night. Everything was still on sale! You can find everything here from the premium cosmetic brands, clothes, restaurants, street foods, kpop merchandise (for kpop fanatics out there this is the place for you, you'll go gaga I swear), bags, almost everything! And it was really cheap.

Those cute socks are to die for hayyy I'm daydreaming of going back back to Seoul at this very moment. Someone please take me there again :(
Mamita version 2.0
It was so crowded. Most of the people shop here that's why.

I was so full to try their cotton candy. I keep on buying and buying food since I got there and mind you I really wanna taste everything.
Did I also mention that most of the shops especially the cosmetic shops give free samples for every purchased? How cool is that. I even got a free cute ballpen from holika holika, some shops give free facial masks and serums.

This lucky box thingy caught my attention for just 10,000 won you got the chance to choose a random box and if you got lucky some of the items inside are worth more than what you just paid. It's cheap but the happiness it brings will surely be kept forever :)

I don't even know what is this guy up to. He's like an angel in a motorcycle.

My First day was all about discovering Seoul. From its history, the people and of course Shopping!
Really hope you learned something from me. I'm not really good at story telling and step by step instructions. Lol but I enjoy reminiscing my trip to SoKor through these blog posts. Day 2 will be posted soon!
