Café Plazuela; A venture to a new world of Culinary Creations

Last weekend Bicol Bloggers were invited by Avenue Plaza hotel to present their latest culinary offers from Cafe Plazuela. Its a place where you get to taste International and local flavors. And as a Hotel and Restaurant Management student I must say that I was really impressed with the food and the service this hotel offers. It was top notch! I can't wait to make a review about the whole hotel experience! 
The dining area was nice and comfortable but maybe they could add a high divider for a little privacy of the guests.

Executive Chef Rudy V. Velasco is considered the finest asset of The Avenue Plaza Hotel's food and Beverage Division to date. He has received various awards and recognition including Gold Awards in Seafood Platter and Set Menu, and Bronze Awards in Gastronomy Beyond Borders and Cold Seafood Platter from the Chefs and Parade Competitions in 1992 and 1993 and many more. His experience and expertise will bring fresh, refined flavours to the revamped menus to both Cafe Plazuela and Banquet Selections of The Avenue Plaza Hotel.

Paul A. Oraa - Pastry Chef. Satisfy your sweet tooth's desires with new selections that challenge traditional flavors as we welcome the new leading man of the Cafe Plazuela's Pastry Section. Chef Paul is a multi- year veteran in international. high end, pastry production whose career started in Abroad Luxury Vessels where, for 12 years he refined his craft of pastry culinary preparations for the Ship's discerning passengers. Chef Paul will take you to a new journey of culinary discovery!

Cold Cuts Harmony
Smoked ham, salami, lyoner on mesclun lettuce served with horseraddish mustard sauce.

Scottish Smoked Salmon Melba
A thin sliced smoked salmon with baby green salad serves with capers, lemon wedge and toast Melba.
The Classic Ceasar Salad
Iceberg and romaine lettuce tossed in ceasar salad dressing served with garlic croutons, anchovy fillet, crispy bacon and shaved parmesan cheese.

These are garlic olive oil marinated prawns, sauces in light spicy tomato concasse with basil.

Always have a room for dessert! Cappucino Chocolate Cheesecake  would be one of the mouthwatering dessert I've ever tasted. A must try!

All in all the experience was great. I will totally go back to taste other dishes offered.
